✨ About this release

1973, Hosono back from Happy End and turning inward.
Hosono House was cut at his own home studio in Sayama : intimate, unvarnished.
This is a domestic record that feels like a diary: small stories, soft grooves, sunlight on tatami.
This HHMK-001 reissue brings the cult classic home again.

🎧 Musical style

Folk-rock simplicity shaded with country touches; acoustic guitars, Fender Rhodes, and Hosono’s warm bass at the core.
The production is raw but alive : you can hear the room, the air, the floorboards.
Songs drift between Laurel Canyon ease and Japanese folk sensibility,
understated yet quietly groundbreaking.
