3. Sales Conditions
When you purchase from Dandy Records, you enter into a binding sales contract governed by the following conditions:
3.1 Product Information & Condition
Our catalogue consists largely of second-hand records.
All items are visually graded according to the Discogs grading standards, unless otherwise stated. Grading is inherently subjective, and slight variations in interpretation may occur.
Minor imperfections inherent to vintage records (surface noise, sleeve wear, hairline scratches, slight edge warps, etc.) are considered normal and do not constitute a defect.
If an item is significantly not as described (wrong pressing, undisclosed major defect), please contact us within 7 days of delivery for resolution.
3.2 Pricing & Payment
All prices are displayed in the applicable currency and include VAT where legally required.
Prices are subject to change at any time due to market fluctuations, availability, or clerical errors.
Full payment is required before any order is processed and dispatched.
3.3 Delivery & Risk
Orders are generally dispatched within 1–3 business days. Delivery times vary depending on the carrier and destination.
Once handed over to the carrier, the risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer. We package all records with the utmost care, but we are not responsible for delays or damage caused by third-party carriers.
International buyers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import restrictions applicable in their country.
3.4 Right of Withdrawal (EU Customers)
In accordance with EU consumer law, you have 14 days from receipt of goods to withdraw from the contract without providing a reason.
Returned products must be in the same condition as received.
Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless the error was on our part.
3.5 Warranty & Liability
All products are sold “as is”, with no additional warranties implied.
Our liability for any claim arising out of a sale shall never exceed the original purchase price of the product.

5. Limitation of Liability
Grading Standards: All second-hand vinyl records are visually graded according to the internationally recognized Discogs grading system (Mint, Near Mint, Very Good+, etc.). Our grading reflects the overall condition of both the record and its sleeve to the best of our ability.
Disclosure of Defects: Major flaws that affect playability or significantly alter the value of the record (such as deep scratches, warps, or writing on covers) are explicitly noted in the product description. We always aim for transparency.
Inherent Imperfections: Buyers acknowledge that vintage and second-hand records, by nature, may include minor imperfections not always visible during visual grading, such as:
light surface noise or occasional clicks/pops,
hairline scratches not affecting play,
slight sleeve wear
minor label discoloration, aging
These imperfections are normal for used vinyl and do not constitute grounds for claims of “item not as described.”
Subjectivity of Grading: Grading is inherently subjective, and small differences in interpretation between sellers and buyers are possible. Unless the record is substantially different from its described grade, these differences do not give rise to liability.
Limitation of Liability: Dandy Records, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:
Minor imperfections inherent to vintage vinyl and second-hand goods as described above.
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the website or products purchased.
Delays, damage, or losses caused by third-party carriers, customs, or force majeure events.
Our maximum liability in any case shall not exceed the purchase price of the product(s).
